About This Tour
Materuni is located under the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel/airport early in the morning then head to Materuni village. Enjoy a morning hike in the village surrounded by beautiful tropical rainforests giving you a scenic view of the city as you approach the waterfalls for a refreshing dip in the waterfall pool, if the weather allows. You will also get to explore the cultural heritage of the Chagga tribe through their local banana beer and coffee roasted traditionally, whereas you can join in the coffee-making process to its final. You will have your lunch and fresh fruits at Materuni after a cup of coffee. Next is Kikuletwa hot spring with a fantastic pool with small fish that offer free feet massage. Enjoy a few hours of relaxing, chatting, and a swim while having a beer/soft drink before heading back to your hotel or airport.
