About This Tour
This culinary tour takes you out of touristy Sarajevo, to where the locals live, work and spend their time - and of course we will stop at numerous typical Bosnian restaurants where we will taste local delicacies. Probably no other neighborhood in Sarajevo has such a turbulent history as Grbavica, which was not only shelled but also occupied by enemy troops during the siege of the city. Very slowly the inhabitants rebuilt their Grbavica after 1996 - now it is a lively district with many restaurants and cafes and a small green oasis in the midst of socialist architecture.
