We recommend arriving 15 minutes earlier. • A valid passport is essential. Holders of Israeli Passports must use them at border crossings. • Visa and border fees: $125, to be paid directly to the Jordanian authorities upon border crossing, by credit card (require an additional 2.5%), or an exact amount of cash (USD/EU/NIS). • Border crossing includes border control and customs, a process that may take up to an hour. • Wear hats and use comfortable walking shoes. • Bring your swimsuit: You'll have free time In Aqaba for optional beach activities, such as a 3-hour boat tour + snorkeling, or entrance to a private beach area with a pool and a Jacuzzi (both with an additional cost). • This tour will have a late Lunch; we recommend bringing snacks or sandwiches for the ride from Jerusalem. There will be a stop for breakfast on the way south, and another in Aqaba for lunch (both not included in the product price). • Beverages are not included. • Donkey/Horse/Gulf Cart rides: Make sure to settle the tip before you begin, to avoid quarrels. • Make sure to drink enough water, and wear a hat at all times. • Use only marked paths to reach attractions such as Al Dayr – the Petra Monastery.
