After the ferry, we continue on foot, visiting the star-shaped 17th-century fortress and the Little Mermaid. A cozy café stop offers time to rest and chat before finishing at Amalienborg Palace. The 9:00 AM tour includes the full Changing of the Guards at 12:00. Other times include a smaller version. If the ferry is full or out of service (rare, mostly weekends), we follow a scenic canal route instead — same experience, just 2 extra km.
