Overlooking Faxaflói Bay, this striking peak was once shaped by ancient glaciers and surrounded by water during the Ice Age, leaving behind a rugged yet mesmerizing terrain. Our route takes us to the mountain’s highest peak, Geirmundartindur (643m / 2130 ft), where you’ll be rewarded with sweeping views stretching from Reykjanes to Snæfellsjökull Glacier.
