About This Tour
Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal which was established in 1973 AD. The national park lies inside the subtropical Terai region at the south central Nepal and is 97 km away from the country’s capital. The altitude of Chitwan ranges from river valleys (100m) to the Churia hills (850m) and has the tropical monsoon climate with high humidity. The ethnic groups living here are Tharu communities representing their cultures village and Tharu dance performances. Chitwan is the home to one-horned rhinoceros and royal Bengal tiger, which are endangered and rare species in the world. Inside the park has 68 species of mammals and 543 species of birds you’d get to see in the Jeep Safari. Other than safari has the exciting canoeing at Rapti river. Overall, Chitwan National Park was renowned as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1984.
