The only truly five-star aspect of this restaurant is the service provided by the waitstaff. In the afternoon we had tea, and Erica and Pablo took excellent care of us — attentive, warm, and professional. We decided to stay for dinner, and Pablo and Ana continued serving us with the same kindness and efficiency. The table service and café experience were outstanding, but the dinner was disappointing. We ordered tap water and unfortunately woke up the next morning with diarrhea. We also heard similar comments from some hotel guests dining nearby. Our doctor later told us that the tap water likely comes from the lake and may be contaminated, so it’s safer to drink bottled water. We ordered the ojo de bife and the Patagonian trout. Both meats were well-cooked and flavorful, but the side dish — pressed potatoes served with the steak — was practically inedible. Fortunately, our waiter compensated us with mashed potatoes, which were much better. Prices were reasonable, but charging $5,000 per hour for parking felt excessive, especially for a five-star resort. In summary, excellent staff and café service, but the kitchen and management should reach the same level of quality and attention as their outstanding waiters. And definitely, stick to bottled water during your visit. Incomible. Not edible. We came in thinking 5star international hotel quality, and they charge $40 for a burger, and it was not even edible. It looked like a paper paste formed into a patty. Fries came out cold, and the new fries were hot but were not appetizing, with an old grease flavor. Location was incredible, but the kitchen needs a serious overhaul. Extremely overpriced food/drinks. I know you're paying extra for the view and being inside the hotel but I still don't think it's worth it because the food/drink quality is not great. For reference, we paid around 32 USD for: 2 cappuccinos, 2 small pcs of macaron and 2 pcs of scone. Macarons were fine, scones were too hard/dense.

Terrible service starting from the parking guy. Bad attitude all around. We stated we were vegetarian and vegan, and they said there’s a whole set of menu for us. Turns out there was basically only one real option for each which were both terrible salads. Will not ever recommend.

Very disappointing 😞 We stopped at this iconic hotel for lunch. The food is fairly priced, but the quality is low (for such a location). The seafood soup was average… everything seemed to be defrosted. I was expecting to get an exceptional meal. Also, the service was not flawless either
