I love it here... I will be coming back for more. The hotel, the bar and the restaurant are all connected. And at night, when they turn on their patio lights it sets the atmosphere perfectly. There's little shops to go into. And a great breakfast place just a 200 yard walk... Have a walk through the hotel lobby and check out the amazing vintage custom furniture. Check out the history of this great little treasure... We saw that this place had some bad reviews, but the locals said it’s been making improvements so we decided to give it a try while in town at the lake. We walked in to a mostly empty restaurant. The hostess had a bad attitude and rolled her eyes when I asked to see the menu before ordering a drink. We immediately left and went to the Velvet Elvis down the street. It was amazing!!! Great vibe, excellent service, food was good and margaritas even better! Go there instead! Excellent breakfast! Very nice place! Very pretty western interior, old Kenny playing on the radio. Great vibe. Friendly service and a great meal! My son really enjoyed this place! He got steak and eggs and said the steak was like butter! Highly recommended!

Enjoyed lunch with my sister but service was horrible. No napkins or cutlery. Asked for refill, never got to it and when reminded, oops I gave it to another table. I had to get up and get napkins. I left a tip according to service and cashier said, " you didn't need to leave tip if service was bad!" "We are busy today!" Excuse me but you have 3 or 4 wait people bunched up front gabbing and not paying attention to customers. Each wait person should handle 4 or 5 tables at a time and there were only 5 or 6 tables that were occupied. I tipped $2 on 40.00 ticket. Had we received fair service i would have tipped $8! FYI, better training and accountability will correct service issue.

The food was ok, but that's it. It looked like we were annoying the staff, we were an international multilingual group and they made no effort to be understood, they lined up the tables in the most odd way where we couldn't talk to each other and pedestrians would laugh at us calling us "people watching" this place wasn't convivial at all. We came with a service dog who was very well behaved and were banned from indoors which was practically empty and the back patio which would have accommodated our large group. We weren't given silverware, napkins and had to ask. It just felt like we were a major inconvenience right upon entering their restaurant. Also they have swallow nests everywhere which is lovely but they truly don't care about the birds, several swallows were stuck in their lamp lights, some looked like they had been there a while and were dehydrated. They are just willing to let the birds die in their lanterns. Poorest customer service I've faced in Arizona.
